Queen’s Bench Returns to Phone Appearances for Chambers

The Court of Queen’s Bench will return to hearing all Civil and Family Chambers matters by phone or video, effective immediately. The worsening COVID-19 situation in the province prompted the reintroduction

Provincial Court Judge Appointed in Yorkton

The Honourable Lynn Hintz has been appointed to Provincial Court in Yorkton. Judge Hintz received her law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2003. She joined the Federal Prosecution Service after her call to the Bar, and later worked in the Office of the Prosecutor for a UN-backed international criminal tribunal in Sierra Leone, West Africa.

Queen’s Bench To Cancel Most COVID Restrictions

Court of Appeal to Resume In-Person Hearings

The Court of Appeal will return to in-person hearings in September, although counsel and self-represented individuals will be able to choose whether to attend in-person or virtually. As well, members of the public and the media will be able to listen or observe the hearings.
