Justices of the Peace preside over Traffic Safety Court in Regina and Saskatoon on a full-time, weekly basis.

Matters heard in this court are mainly traffic offences, which include speeding and other moving (and non-moving) violations. Offences relating to other provincial statutes, including liquor and wildlife violations, are also dealt with. Traffic Safety Court does not handle parking tickets.
