Provincial Court
Justices of the Peace preside over Traffic Safety Court in several communities.
Matters heard in this court are mainly traffic offences, which include speeding and other moving (and non-moving) violations. Offences relating to other provincial statutes, including liquor and wildlife violations, are also dealt with. Traffic Safety Court does not handle parking tickets.
