Saskatoon’s Domestic Violence Court celebrated eight years of successful operation. The treatment court – the result of a collaboration between justice, health and community services and agencies – provides early treatment for offenders and support for victims of domestic violence.
The program was implemented in 2005 and has continued to grow since then. In 2011-12, approximately 1000 accused were referred to the Saskatoon Domestic Violence Court and more than 750 received victim services and supports
