The Honourable Lana L. Krogan-Stevely has been appointed a Judge of the Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan, replacing the Honourable Mr. Justice T.C. Zarzeczny, who elected supernumerary status as of Sept. 1, 2012. Justice Krogan-Stevely has held various positions with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Justice since starting in 2003, including her most recent position as Executive Director of Court Services.
Prior to joining the Ministry, Justice Krogan-Stevely was a lawyer with MacPherson Leslie & Tyerman LLP, where her main area of practice was criminal law. She was a Bencher for the Law Society of Saskatchewan from 2000 to 2006, Chair and Board member of the Regina Region RCMP Victim Services Program from 2003 to 2006 and a lecturer at numerous conferences for the Canadian Police College, the University of Saskatchewan College of law and the RCMP Cadet Training Program from 1997 to 2010.
