The Honourable Steven Schiefner has been appointed a judge of the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan in Prince Albert. Judge Schiefner graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a law degree in 1994. He has worked in both private practices and in the public sector. He was City Solicitor for the City of Moose Jaw for several years, and most recently was the Vice-Chairperson of the Saskatchewan Labour Relations Board, to which he was appointed in 2008. He replaces Judge Morris Baniak, who will transfer to Saskatoon.
