The Honourable William Campbell has been appointed a judge of the Provincial Court for Meadow Lake, replacing the Honourable Jeremy Nightingale, who is retiring. Judge Campbell has been in the Public Prosecutions Division of the Ministry of Justice for 20 years, serving as a Regional Crown Prosecutor and, most recently, Director of the High-Risk Offender Unit.
Until his appointment, he was the National Flagging System Co-ordinator for Saskatchewan, one of 15 coordinators across the country responsible for managing high-risk violent offender prosecutions. Judge Campbell’s 27-year legal career has included civil, family, and criminal law experience.
