The Honourable Patrick Anthony Reis has been appointed a judge of the Provincial Court in Yorkton. Judge Reis has practiced law for nearly 30 years, being called to the Bar in 1984. Most of his career has been with Legal Aid in Regina. He was a Bencher of the Law Society of Saskatchewan in 2012, sitting on several committees.
He has also been a mentor to law students and young lawyers, as well as an active volunteer in the community, coaching hockey and baseball. Judge Reis replaces Justice Darin Chow, who was recently appointed to the Court of Queen’s Bench Family Law Division in Regina.
