The Honourable Darryl J. Brown has been appointed a judge of the Family Law Division of the Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan in Regina. Justice Brown has been a lawyer with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Justice since 1989. He began as Crown Counsel in the Civil Law Division and, more recently, was the coordinator of the Civil Litigation Section, a position he held since 2008. Justice Brown was a member of the Court of Queen’s Bench Rules Revision Committee, and has been a speaker for the Saskatchewan Trial Lawyers’ Association. He replaces Justice D.E.W. McIntyre, who elected to become a supernumerary judge in February 2014.
