The Honourable Jacelyn A. Ryan-Froslie has been appointed a judge of the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan. Madam Justice Ryan-Froslie was previously a judge of the Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan, Family Law Division, in Saskatoon.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Saskatchewan and was admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1978. Prior to her appointment to Queen’s Bench in 2000, she was a partner with Anderson & Company of Swift Current. She replaces Madam Justice G.A. Smith, who retired on Dec. 1, 2012.
