The Honourable Richard W. Elson has been appointed to the Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan to replace Mr. Justice Peter A. Whitmore, who has been appointed to the Court of Appeal for Saskatchewan.
Justice Elson received his Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manitoba in 1980. He was called to the Bar of Manitoba in 1981 and to the Bar of Saskatchewan the following year. Justice Elson has been a partner with McKercher LLP since 1989 and has appeared before all of the courts in Saskatchewan.
