It is with great sadness that the Courts note the death of the Honourable Frank Gerein, former Chief Justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench. Gerein was appointed to District Court in 1980, and joined the Court of Queen’s Bench the following year when the two courts merged. He retired earlier this year after sitting for more than three decades. He was Chief Justice of the Court of Queen’s Bench from 2000 to 2005. Gerein died Sunday, November 9.
