The Honourable Miguel Martinez has been appointed a judge of the Provincial Court in Meadow Lake. Judge Martinez has been a lawyer for more than 30 years, beginning his practice in Weyburn and Carlyle with the MacDonald, Dawson and Fabian law firm. After moving to Lloydminster in 1989, Judge Martinez became the managing partner for the Martinez, Meunier, and Sholter law firm in 1996. He has represented individuals and small businesses at all levels of court in both Alberta and Saskatchewan. Judge Martinez replaces Judge E. Kalenith who is transferring to Prince Albert to fill a vacancy there.
