The Court of Queen’s Bench passed amendments to The Queen’s Bench Rules at its June en banc to comply with The Enforcement of Money Judgments Act (EMJA), which came into force May 28, 2012.
The amendments include deleting rules pertaining to writs of execution in Part Thirty, deleting equitable execution and receivership in Part Thirty-three and deleting “judgment creditor” from Rule 383, all of which are now provided for in the EMJA
