The Provincial Court of Saskatchewan has issued an advisory to the public planning to attend the sentencing hearing for Jaskirat Singh Sidhu, scheduled to begin Monday, January 28, 2019, in Melfort. The hearing will take place at the Kerry Vickar Centre, 206 Bemister Avenue East, Melfort. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., and everyone entering will be subject to airport-style security screening.
The public is reminded that the following are not permitted: food; drinks (including water bottles); large bags and backpacks; cameras or recording equipment of any kind; and knives, scissors, bats, or other items that may be deemed a possible threat. Cell phones must be turned OFF in the courtroom area.
