The Honourable Karl Patrick Bazin, Q.C., has been appointed a judge of the Provincial Court for Estevan. He replaces the Honourable Jeffrey Kalmakoff, who is transferring to the Provincial Court in Regina.
Judge Bazin has been a partner in the MacBean Tessem law firm in Swift Current since 1987. He has experience in civil, criminal and family law, and has been active in professional associations including the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Saskatchewan. He has also been an active volunteer with a number of community organizations
