Two judges have been appointed to the Court of Queen’s Bench: the Honourable Brenda R. Hildebrandt has been appointed in Battleford, while the Honourable Charlene M. Richmond has been appointed in Regina. Madam Justice Hildebrandt earned a law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1983, and her Masters in Health Law from Osgoode Hall Law Shcool in 2011. She received her Queen’s Counsel designation in 2004. At the time of her appointment,

Justice Hildebrandt was a Bencher of the Law Society of Saskatchewan. Madam Justice Richmond earned an LL.B. with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 1988. After working in private practice for several years, she co-founded a law firm and was later joined in the firm by her spouse. Raised in a Francophone community, Justice Richmond was a member of L’Association des juristes d’expression francaise de la Saskatchewan for many years. She also served as Honourary Consul for the Kingdom of Morocco from 2013 to 2017
