The Honourable Michael D. Tochor has been appointed a judge of the Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan. At the time of his appointment, Mr. Justice Tochor was a partner in the Regina Litigation Group of MLT Aikins LLP. He earned a law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1984, and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2004.
He was chair of the Saskatchewan Police Commission from 2002 to 2008, and has been a regular presenter at the Law Society of Saskatchewan’s bar admission course for 20 years. Mr. Justice Tochor replaces Mr. Justice N.G. Gabrielson, who elected supernumerary status on Feb. 28, 2018.
