The Honourable Robert W. Leurer has been appointed a judge of the Court of Queen’s Bench for Saskatchewan. Mr. Justice Leurer was a partner at MLT Aikins LLP in Regina at the time of his appointment. He earned a law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1984, clerked for Justice W.Z. Estey of the Supreme Court of Canada, and was admitted to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1986. Justice Leurer was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2003, and has been made a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers. He replaces Madam Justice A.R. Rothery, who elected supernumerary status on Dec. 31, 2015
