Effective July 1, 2013, the La Ronge circuit schedule will discontinue sitting in Stony Rapids, and Court will instead be conducted in Black Lake.
The change is meant to improve access to justice for a large number of people from Black Lake who are appearing in Stony Rapids. The Black Lake First Nation’s new Band Hall, 118 Allsaints Street, will serve as the court facility.
