The Honourable Dorinda M.Stahl, the Honourable Peter T. Bergbusch, the Honourable John P. Morrall, and the Honourable Holli A. Kuski Bassett have been appointed to the Court of King’s Bench. Justice Stahl, who at the time of her appointment was a Provincial Court judge in La Ronge, is appointed to the Family Law Division in Saskatoon, replacing Justice G.M. Currie, who elected supernumerary status in November 2021. Justice Bergbusch, a partner at Miller Thompson LLP in Regina at the time of his appointment, will join the Court’s General Division in Regina, replacing Justice M. McCreary, who was appointed to the Court of Appeal in June. Justice Morrall, who is filling the second of two positions on the Court created in last year’s federal budget, will also join the Court’s General Division in Regina. At the time of his appointment, he was Associate Regional Crown Prosecutor in Prince Albert. Justice Kuski Bassett, formerly a partner at McDougall Gauley LLP, is appointed to the Court’s General Division in Regina. She fills one of two new positions on the Court created in this year’s federal budget.
