The Honourable Michael Segu has been appointed a judge of the Provincial Court of Saskatchewan in Meadow Lake. Judge Segu received his law degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1997. He articled with the Ministry of Justice and Attorney General and continued to work as a Crown Prosecutor in Meadow Lake after his call to the Bar. Judge Segu has been a prosecutor for 21 years and was, at the time of his appointment, prosecuting Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) crimes in Saskatoon. He is active in the arts community, having served as a volunteer for the Saskatchewan Jazz Festival and a board member for Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan.
