The statistics provided on this page relate to both Criminal Offences under the Criminal Code of Canada, and Provincial Offences under acts such as The Traffic Safety Act, Saskatchewan’s Wildlife Act, Alcohol and Gaming Regulation Act, etc.

The data presented is updated on the first of every month.

CRIMINAL CASES

A Criminal Case is different than a Criminal Charge.

A new case is: when an accused person or Information is scheduled for a first court appearance. An Information can be a single court proceeding or a number of related court proceedings that have all been assigned the same case file number.
A concluded case is: a case that has a final disposition (resolution or outcome such as convicted, not-guilty, withdrawn/dismissed, or stayed).
